About the artists:
Duet singers Uday and Manila Sotang have succeeded in establishing their own unique identities in the Music Industry. They are legend singers specially on modern songs as well as classical. Uday Sotang and Manila Sotang have come up with numbers like ‘Hajar Juni Samma’, ‘Kaha Pokhinchha Aasu’, ‘Aja Timro Kura Chalyo’, ‘Chin Chin ma Hasna Maan Lagchha’ together. Nepalese Association of Queensland Inc. (NAQ) is organising “NEPATHYA Australia Tour 2012, Brisbane” in the auspicious occasion of Nepalese New Year 2069 BS on Thursday, 5th April 2012. We take this opportunity to invite you all to this musical celebration and help to promote social harmony among the Nepalese Community members living in the state of Queensland.

Nepathya is one name in Nepali Music – which has gained consistent popularity and social recognition. During the past two decades of its existence- Nepathya has been the trendsetters. They have been the pioneers to blend folk melodies into youth friendly pop and rock format. Folk melodies have remained the life force of Nepathya. Apart from folk, Nepathya’s songs also portray contemporary Nepal – its pain at times of war and distress, and yet the ray of hope. Critics address Nepathya as the Most Earthy Nepali Band.
